The History of M.G.M. Townsend Tire

Founded in 1995, M.G.M. Townsend Tire is located at 40356 Londesboro Rd. in Londesborough, ON as a tire dealer and tire service center. We have spent over 26 years delivering quality tires and services to satisfied customers. Come see us in person, or schedule an appointment online today from the comfort of your couch.

The father-and-son team of George and Matt Townsend opened M.G.M. Townsend Tire as a one-bay shop in 1995. Within two years, we moved into a more functional, two-bay shop. We replaced an adjacent trailer with an office, reception area, and full counter in 2003, allowing us to expand our staffing and serve more customers. Further expansion followed in 2012 to increase storage space for new stock and seasonal tire storage and a huge drive through bay that allows us to accommodate commercial vehicles and agricultural equipment. Then with our most recent expansion in 2018 we upgraded our reception area and with the addition of 4 more bays we enlarged to encompass into automotive service and repairs to any make and model up to 9000 KG.

Drop-in visits are always welcome, but appointments are more strongly encouraged during snow tire installation season from late October through December. We make arrangements with our suppliers every autumn to be well stocked in snow tires and to restock quickly when necessary. Come to M.G.M. Townsend Tire for any reason, any season.
